I want to remove a 408 GS/LS card in slot 2 and replace it with a 408 GS/LS-MLX. When I do this and immediately place a long distance call it goes through. Now if I do a board renumber to account for the 408 GS/LS-MLX I loose my long distance capability. Some how switching these two boards is affecting my T1 configuration. Any ideas? Here is the configuration:

Slot 0 CKE4 CPU
Slot 1 008 MLX
Slot 2 408 GS/LS
Slot 3 400 GL/LS/TTR
Slot 4 100D
Slot 5 012
Slot 6 012
Slot 7 012
Slot 8 408 GS/LS-MLX
Slot 9 008 MLX-U
Slot 10 800 NI-BRI
Slot 11 012

Thanks in advance.

After the board renumber have you gone in and done a System Printout? Information from this should point you in the exact direction. Let me know what this card looks like as reflected in the System Printout.

One tip to narrow things down is when you perform a board renumber the Logical ID's that get assigned to trunks and extensions can be automatically modified to account for new items. Perhaps these Logical ID's have affected your trunking for outside facilities.

If you have a saved copy of a previous System Printout you could compare it when the current System Printout to verify if this is indeed the case.

Here is the System Setup printout:

What I was looking for is further down. The line/trunk information will show Logical ID's, Line #'s, Pool #'s, etc. If you have a previously saved report (before you performed the board renumber) you probably would notice that some of the trunks/lines are assigned differently.
