Replacing 2250

I'm replacing a 2250 with the same model, is there anything I would need to do special besides plug and un-plug?

shold be just plug and play

I swapped them out, and everything worked for about 10 mins, then the phone would ring but you could not hear the operator when she picked up...any thoughts? I replaced the actual handset but no luck

Did you change out the 2 prong plug?

Yes, I tried that. Was wondering if the polarity was upside down...if so would it work for 5 mins?

It only works one way but if you have it in wrong not sure if it will work for 5 min.
