If you, like myself have tried getting a replacement laptop screen in the UK, you will probably had the same problems i have had, with long lead times or astronomical prices.
Well i found a site the other day in the USA for a company called ScreenTek Inc. who specialise in laptop screens, and the prices are maybe 3 times cheaper than in the UK. I bought an N800V replacement screen for $395 + $35 shipping, which is the equivalent of £252! Last time i bought a laptop screen in the UK it cost in excess of £700!
The screen also arrived really fast, it was ordered on Monday, shipped on Monday by FED Ex International, and arrived on Wednesday morning, which i believe by anyone's standards would class as excellent service.
