Hi! I've been usinf an HP 670C printer for over 5 years and I've been very satisfied with it. But now i think it's time for me to replace it. I would very much have liked to take another HP670C again but unfortunately u don't find it on the market anymore. So, can u people please recommend me a suitable alternative to the 670C? In fact i need a robust and fast dual-cartridge inkjet printer with resolution 2400x1200.

Pretty much any of the HPs will work, there are only a few that don't get up to 2400x1200. I have a 9** series and it is great (can't remember which one). I use an HP All-in-one that is super, if you need more than just a printer, check those out.

i have an 815c and strongly advise against you buying one its made my life hell the printer needs bi-directional communication meaning my zip drive wouldnt work with it, so i used the USB this then meant i didnt have any USB's left for my camera ! Just dont get and 815C there are some very good spec models on the market and if you check out ebay america or uk (depending where you live) i wouldnt be surprised if you found the HP670

The trend for better quality "photo" capable printers has taken them to four or even six cartridges!!
The printers still using two: one black and one tricolour usually means they are of lower print quality.
I have just given up on my HP895cxi after 4 years, I too was very pleased with the build quality and printing ability of this high end deskjet but things have moved on to another level, just as with the rest of PC technology, printers have got quicker, better and with more features than ever before.
One of my hats is as a professional photographer so I bought Canon's 850i, it has excellent reviews for photo print quality and speed.
One month on and I don't regret my choice, it's a belting printer and unrivalled at the price.
