My power supply went out and when I replaced it the system is not detecting my secondary master and slave. I have a cd rom drive and a cd burner on my secondary. All connections appear to be correct. Thanks in advance for any help.

Reseat all cables any way just to be sure nothing got knocked loose...And try the drives 1 at a time to see if 1 of the drives is holding down the chain, and try swapping with ide1, and see if drives are detected on the first controller,if they are and the HDD is not detected on the second, bad system board. replace board or get a pci adapter to add a ide controller to the machine. make sure power connectors are in right and tight on the drives. Swap the power connector with the 1 to the HDD since you know that is ok....This should give you a place to start.

CDrom drives are often damaged when a PSU goes bad (hard drives quite often as well)do as rclarke250 suggests, try one at a time, connect a known good device etc.
