hi guys....

i want to directly goes to the address with the specific criteria: for example:

the problem is the record cannot be found because the sql turn Eric%UHF to EricñF. i dont know why. so instead of find the record with the product=Eric UHF it will keep on looking for product=EricñF and the record always not found. my question is how to replace the % so that the program will find the records?. is there any other way?

Thanks,
Nor

This might be a stupid suggestion ( I'm prone to that ) but will product=Eric+UHF not work? Mise Le Meas,

hi use

server.URLEncode or HTMLEncode as it suites ur needs

Server.URLEncode is required when putting any data passed through a URL , (HTML Encode converts it to html so it wont mess things up, like " = ", space =  , > = > so on)

the basic rule of passing data on a URL is

AlphaNumeric stays the same (A-Z , 1-9/0)
all other characters are replaced with %xx
where xx is the Character's 2 digit Hexidecimal ASCII code
