Replace Station Admin information in OTM 1

I have an OTM system version 2.2. I want to replace all the Station Admin information with a pull of the data in the PBX. Some of the information is OTM is incorrect, and there are listings showing NEW that are already in place, and others TN's that are in use on the switch but not in OTM.

From the "Station Administration" screen complete the following....

Select...Synchronise>Retrieve>All

Depending on the sixe of your PABX will depend on the time it takes to fully retrieve all of the current data from the PABX.

Select...Synchronise>Reconcile>Terminal

This should not take too long and will compare the true data from the PABX with what is current on the OTM server. Hope this helps you.

I kind of thought that is the path you go down. I am having one other problem. When I do the Reconcile, the system comes up with a box that says Initializing the database, please wait..... with progress bar. The bar goes to 100% and starts over, and it constantly does this, there is no progression beyond this.

Any ideas?

I would select all and do a global change, and make the sync status new on everything and delete them, then do a retreive all. I would also delete everything in cpnd before I did the retreive.

Try clearing the LOG files first. I had this problem before until I cleared them out.

If you want to recreate Station admin Data:

Rename the following files: STATION.DAT, CPND.DAT,
NAME.DAT in the Station Admin Folder: (c:|nortel\common data\ Site\System) and resync Station Administration and CPND.
