Hello,

We had a stale PV in a VG (18 disks) with just 1 logical volume, I removed the lvcopy from the second copy (mirror) and replaced the ssa-disk, I have now the disk back in the volumegroup but how can I now mirror the 9 disks to the other 9 disks? I know that I can do this with syncvg -l LVname, but before I can do that I must first make the logical volumes back on the disks and how can I do that?

Greetings,
Rudy

Hello AIXqueen,

Thanks for your help, I have done it with mklv -y'<lvname>' -c'2' <vgname> <LP's> <pvnames> and after that syncvg -l <lvname> to synchronize everything.

Greetings,
RUDY
