Replace PDC?

This is pretty straightforward. Bring the new box into the domain as a BDC. If you have a large domain wait a little while for the PDC to transfer all info to the BDC.
Go into server manager on the BDC; select the BDC in the window; select computer in the menu. select promote to primary domain controller; and that's it.
Wait until it is finished and you will see that the new box will be identified as the PBC.
