Replace HDD in Raid 5 Compaq Proliant 3000

Hi have cliente with Compaq Proliant 3000 and Raid 5, the question is, the raid have 3 disk of 9,1 Gb (336357-B21, Seagate Barracuda family) and fail one, is possible replace the break disk with one disk of most capacity??? (ej. HDD Compaq 36,4 10K, same family Seagate), no problem if the sistem view only 9,1 Gb of the 34,6 Gb..., but working OK?, have problem for obtain exactly (336357-B21)HDD spare for complite the raid.

Yep, that would be OK, though as you say you would only be able to use 9.1Gb of the 36.4Gb disk.

OK Norton..., the HDD is empty, not have any partition, is virgin!!!
