Replace() function doesn't work?

Hello,

is it just me or does the Replace() function not work in access?

access gave me the error message 'sub or function not defined'

does anybody know a solution for this?

Of course, Access97 have not Replace function. You may write user-defined function for replacing substring.
Access2000 have this function.
