Hi All,
I'm trying to trim/replace a column down to 40 characters. I can use =REPLACE(B1,41,50,"") Which gives me exactly what i want, but it is reliant on the origional data still being available.
I need some kind of way to trim/replace down to a maximum of 40 characters either with the origional data column or make it so it can dump the 40 character text into another column so i can delete/copy/paste the old/new data.
Hope this makes some sense. Please see attached, might make it slightly easier!
Many Thanks,
