Repetative [MAILER-DAEMON@AOL.COM] Messages

Last night one of my users mailboxes recieved a ">>>550 mailbox not found message" from aol every minute for 12 hours.

Most of the messages had 7 levels of messages inside them wreaking havok with Nav Exchange.

Does anyone know what this is all about?

I dread having to speak to aol people about this.

Have you checked the user's computer for viruses?
We had a simmilar experience with a virus that would send
a message about every 1/2 second to the original sender if the original message was not read. I litterally saw the
Sent Items folder get totally filled! This (or something alike)could have happened where the virus sent the message to aol over and over again, and aol is just blindly replying that there is no such user. Hope this helps.

The Users computer was off the whole time. This is strictly an exchange thing.
