Hey there

I am new to indesign having just purchased CS2 after using MS publisher for far to long. In publisher it was really easy to design something like an A5 flyer and have it print automatically 4 times on an A3 sheet of paper (this reduces our printing costs). I've been looking for something similar in indesign but can't seem to see it. Is it possible to do this with indesign?

Any tips or hints are greatly appreciated

Try goin to Print on file menu. Click Setup in the print dialogue window. Selelect the size of paper you wish to use for final output. Click Thumbnails and select the layout you want. ID will give you a preview of teh layout in the bottom left of the print window. Make sure that Orientation is as you need it.

Using OSX 10.3.8 on a G4

Step and Repeat does the same function if I'm not mistaken the question. It is found in the "EDIT" menu. Be sure to "GROUP" any extras in the art before you step & repeat. You do this by selecting the white cursor and "drag" across the art. Once selected, right click "group".
