I need help producing a report with Crystal Reports XI. I have tried numerous ways but have failed. I have two linked tables. The link field is used as page title. Table one always has three rows of data per link field. Table two has a variable number of rows (about 200) per link field. I want the data from table one to appear as header info on every page. When the data from the second table is pushed to a second page, I need the three rows of data from table one to re-display. Can any one help me?

What section do you have the Table one data placed in? Where is the table two data? Are you trying to use the Table one data as column headers, or something? If you could give us an idea of how the report should look, that would be helpfull. Also, what has worked? Have you placed table one data in the Page Header?

Thank you for responding!
I placed table one data in Page Header and table two data in Detail section. This does not work, header shows one row at a time and details are repeated for each header. I need three rows from table one to stay together and repeat on every page (like a column header) and details to show only once but continue on next page.

Here is shortened report layout. T1=Table1 C1=Column1 R1=Row1

Link Field1
T1-C1-R1 T1-C2-R1 T1-C3-R1
T1-C1-R2 T1-C2-R2 T1-C3-R2
T1-C1-R3 T1-C2-R3 T1-C3-R3
-------- -------- --------
T2-C1-R1 T2-C2-R1 T2-C3-R1
T2-C1-R2 T2-C2-R2 T2-C3-R2
T2-C1-R3 T2-C2-R3 T2-C3-R3
T2-C1-R4 T2-C2-R4 T2-C3-R4
T2-C1-R5 T2-C2-R5 T2-C3-R5

<page break>

Link Field1
T1-C1-R1 T1-C2-R1 T1-C3-R1
T1-C1-R2 T1-C2-R2 T1-C3-R2
T1-C1-R3 T1-C2-R3 T1-C3-R3
-------- -------- --------
T2-C1-R6 T2-C2-R6 T2-C3-R6
T2-C1-R7 T2-C2-R7 T2-C3-R7
T2-C1-R8 T2-C2-R8 T2-C3-R8
T2-C1-R9 T2-C2-R9 T2-C3-R9

I think you need to use subreport containing the table1 field in the page header. Use the linking field as the subreport link.

The report is working. Putting table1 data in subreport and in page header did the trick. Thanks!
