I have a user with an NT4 SP6a workstation with a drive mapped to a network share. When she accesses the .exe file on the share another drive is mapped to the share each time so eventually she ends up with many many many mapped drives all to the same share. I believe that I have seen a fix for this at one point but cannot find the reference, any ideas? Thanks

FastFind.exe (Or FindFast.exe) which comes with MS Office has a bug where it will recreate existing shares, till it fills up all your drive letters.

Best thing to do is remove it from the \All Users\..\Startup folder, then delete the .exe file off your hard drive (after you kill it's process).

It should be in \Proggie Files\MS Office\Office\ [auto] MCSE NT4/W2K
