does anyone know to to transfer a call directly into a users voicemail box without ringing the phone?

On nortel call pilot, we have a dn assigned to the system for express messaging. What type of system you on?

look at the header, Repartee Active voice

I am pretty sure he means what phone system.
Takes 2 to tango and in most cases when you go with a 3rd party voice mail you wont get all the options that the phone system would have given.

I would try to transfer to the DN of the voice mail system then the mailbox number.

On Repartee try 9 and the extension number from a phone - if you get directly to that users voicemail then it is 9
Also try 0

9 will not work as they use 9 for an outside line it is the ars access code.

Try transfer + vm pilot number + 9+mailbox and hangup
