Hi

I have WindowXP professional on my laptop.
It has gone gone funny and doesn't startup. When I start up my laptop, it start and scroll down to systems file and stop.

It look like windows gone currupted.

Please could you help me to repair this problem, with out lossing my all other installed software.

Many Thank

Why don't you run a 'system restore'. Open the help menu from the start button and type 'system retore' as the topic. Select the 'Run the system restore wizard' task. This will walk you through the recovery process and hopefully you can restore the computer back to a time when it was working correctly.

jpgrim he did say that the system didn't start...but if he can get into it somehow that might be an easier thing to try first.
