Does anyone know where I can get more information about repairing Permissions for ID on a PC? My tab palette disappears a lot when out network has work done it. The company help desk has repaired the permissions for me thru trial and error. I'd like more information so I can understand it and take care of it myself.

Repairing Permissions on a PC for palettes disappearing

There were reported issues with the tabs palette on unpatched installations. Is your InDesign fully patched with the latest free updates on adobe.com?

I'm not sure. I work for a huge company and everything is done through tech support. If I have some type of information that I could forward them, they might be able to either let me download them (major firewalls here) or download them for me. Thanks for the link.
