My tree inventory dtb file pictures were linked to the actual .bmp picture files. When I moved the locations of the .apr, and dbf, and dbt files as well and changed the directory relationship, I was no longer able to display the .bmp files by double clicking on the picture (or [alt POO] from the menu). Rather, double clicking the picture gave an OLE server busy error. I went to EDIT PICTURE IMPORT and selected eachj picture file for each record. I made a looping macro using the KeyText macro utility. Each of the 694 imported .bmp files had to be selected individually, which took some time. Then I made a different macro to link each picture with its native file ( CREATE OBJECT from file, link to file, browse for file). During the running of this macro is when the 1035 read error occurred. I followed the instructions directed from thread 180-307244, which took me to
I used method 2. which finds the first offending record, export that record, delete that record, then re-import that record. So far, everything is back to normal. Thank you very much for the help

Ok, now I am back with the same problem. The picture is embedded in the PP field but attempts to link it result in the -1035 error. Is there another way of correcting this error?
