My BB has stopped receiving. I believe the antenna is damaged. RIM wants way too much for any repair work. Does anyone have any ideas where I could send this to for testing and repair without losing my shirt?

What is leading you to believe that the antenna is the problem? Also what model is it, and what version of software are you running?
