repair problem

I,ve got a problem. I need to repair my winxp installation but when i choose the repair option it prompts me for a administrator password. It does not accept my administrator password. I started up in safe mode and changed the password and still it wont accept it!

Started in safe mode and changed what password - the administrator? Do you have another account with admin priveleges?

When you say repair - do you mean recovery console?

Did you try just entering a blank password when it asks for Administrator Password?
