Repair Pending

I sms clients showing In Systems Management Icon in control panel under components status "repair pending" for Software Distribution. How do you repair this without uninstalling the sms client.

You can try one of the following:

Remove the specific component (see command lines in Deinstall Command Line in registry at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SMS\Client\Client Components\{component name}\Installation Properties), then run smsls.bat to reinstall it.

Run \\{server}\{site code}\clicomp.box\{component}\I386\{component} /verify

Run \\{server}\{site code}\clicomp.box\{component}\I386\{component} /reinstall
