Repair OS on Radiant 1520

I need to repair the OS on a Radiant 1520 (no hard disk). Some video DLLs got deleted etc.

I have an XP disk but can't figure out how to get the system to boot from a CD so I can go into repair/recovery.

Any help is appreciated.
