I have a program that uses IE (Qbooks), and it is reporting errors having to do with IE. Qbooks support states that IE is the problem, even though I have no known problems with it, other than in conjucntion with Qbooks.
They suggest that because Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel won't Repair IE (Repair is the only option of the three that are available when I hit the Change/Remove button), that it is somehow damaged. In view of this I dowloaded, and installed IE 6.0 over IE 5.50.4807.2300, but the problem persists.
Does the fact that I can not Repair IE 6.0 in Add/Remove Programs suggest a problem? If so, how to remove IE and do a fresh install? Thanks!
