After adding snap-ins to an MMC console (and still in author mode), is it possible to reorder them without removing all of the ones below the one you wish to order and then adding them all back in? I've tried everything... On a side note, just out of curiousity, did Microsoft come out with MMC before Sun came out with Solaris Management Console? They do virtually the same thing, who ripped who?

ive never found a way of doing this either.
maybe the msc file can be edited in some way in notepad???
just checked, it absolulety cant be with notepad

Yeah probably MS, but I don't really know.
Hmph, what a bummer. It seems like such a simple thing that it's amazing to me they wouldn't have a way to change the order of snap-ins once they've been added. Are we the only two people that are annoyed by this? MS should get a landslide of complaints about this example of pure idiocy.
