Reoccuring error when opening office files

Hi hope someone can help. User is running Office Xp on XP Pro OS. Whenever user is openng any Office files, be it Powerpoint or word etc, the following messge pops up:

System recovery has completed. Plese reboot system before sending files.

I have turned of System recovery for all Drive in Xp pro and rebooted numerous times. any ideas??
