Hi
We are renovating and all but the main reception phone will be disconnected from the wall outlet. The auto attendant will still be active and its set answer on 5 rings. Our plan is have our receptionist answer the phone and direct the calls by either a written message or fwd to the a respective ext for vmail (plan is to have staff remotely call and retrieve their vmail).

Problem is this. When we disconnect the phone jack for all ext we dont get vmail greeting (it doesnt even ring).

Does anyone have a better plan of hw can manage vmail during 4 week reno (short of disabling vmail for exts0

Forward to mailbox", on an incoming call, answer call, do not put on hold, press F986, will ask for mailbox #.
