i don't understand why i have to render the transitions and filters in Premiere 6. Is it the setting problem? Please help. Thanks

hey,

if you are using transitions & filters in Premiere 6 you will have to render them anyway. It's not a setting but expected behaviour.
You can see them when holding down ALT and then scrupping along the timeline.

Hope that answers you question
