Rendering prob. DV PAL + .PSD sequence

I am having trouble rendering out a final movie which has DV PAL compressed footage + .psd sequence from Lightwave.
The final output has to be DV PAL, which is ok for the footage, but the .psd sequence looks terrible with this compression. The .psd renders out well with Animation compression, but when dropped back into the composition and rendered in DV PAL, it goes to shit again.

Any idea how I can get both into the final output?
