Rendering Flash content outside the active stage

Does anyone know how to render Flash content outside the active stage, such as some web adverts that drop down over the HTML page content when rolled over? Yes, I know this is annoying, and it won't be employed thus!

Does nobody know this? I'm sure I stumbled across the code a year or so ago, but I'm damned if I can find it now.
