Users who have renamed the headings of the GoldMine tabs in their GoldMine 5 system may not be aware the setting has changed in version 6.
The setting is applied in the username.ini under the [GoldMine] section.
Previously in GoldMine 5.x it was rotabs= this has now changed in GoldMine 6.x to rotabs1=
This is followed by the comma-separated values representing the names to display on the contact screen tabs
Important: Also be aware that there is an additional GM+View tab in GoldMine 6. So with version 5 you would enter 13 comma-separated values, with version 6 this is now 14. There is an additional tab with the SQL version for integration with HEAT called Tickets.
The following example is for GoldMine 6 Corporate.
Note: The tabs in the example haven't actually been renamed, to rename then simply change the names given.
[GoldMine]
rotabs1=Summary, Fields, GMView, Notes, Contacts, Profiles, Referrals, Pending, History, Links, Groups, Tracks, Opptys, Projects, Tickets
Visit to download the INIeditor , this will allow global changes to all the username.ini - saving time
