Hi there,

I have a stencil that I am trying to amend by the addtion of a different shape.

I am trying to delete an original shape ("...Shape.6")
and then add a new shape ("..Shape.9)
and then rename this new shape to the original's ID (e.g."...Shape.6)

This way the same object ID within the original stencil can be accessed in code.

However, does anybody know of a way to rename or reset a shape's ID within the stencil itself?

When I try there is no way to either add a Shape ID "6" or rename one to "6".

Thanks for your help,

Steve Harris

Right-click on the shape in the stencil and select Master Properties. You can rename from there. You need to have it open for editing before this works.
