Renaming Repository 1

Hello,

What are the implications if I rename a repository? Currently, the repository in the DEV environment needs to be renamed. Will anything happen if I rename the repository?

Is is correct if I stop the repository and rename it in Server setup? Or can I do it in the Repository administration console?

I am using INFA v6.2.1 on Windows. Any help would be appreciated.

I don't think there is a rename function but you could achive the same effect by backing up the repository, deleting it and then choosing a different name when you restore. The only other problem you are likely to have is that the name of the repository will be encoded in your pmserver.cfg file, so you will need to edit that.
