Renaming NT user account

Greetings,

NT workstion 4.0
Netware 4.1

I have renamed a users local NT users account so the account could be used by a new employee. The users NDS account has also been renamed. The new employee is able to log in to NT and NDS however there was no new profile created in NT for the new user. The profile for the previous user still exists.

Will renaming an account create a new profile in nt for the renamed account??

As far as I know, renaming the account won't generate a new profile. Generally it's better to copy an account for a new user if you need to preserve all permissinos etc. That way you start fresh with each new user, profilewise, no home folder etc.
