renaming hdisks in AIX 2

Hi All,

I was wondering, is there a way to rename hdisks in AIX to whatever you want ( none-SSA disks)?We are able to do it for ssa disks, but this is done by connectionid in the drawer they are located.We are trying it for hdisks we have from our FASt T, but we aren't successful.
Any suggestions anyone?

here is an unsupported method - I had tested it on local disks not on FAStT environment.
