I have taken a subreport on a CR8.5 system and made some modifications. For example, I don't need opportunities but there is a subreport called s_opportunities. I have made some changes to the s_opportunities subreport. Now, I'd like to rename the s_opportunities subreport to s_preferences (or something similar). How can I do this in CR8.5? Or should I delete the s_opportunities and start over!!! Both tables (opportunities and preferences) are 1:Many in a SQL2K environment connected to the contact table. Hence Contact:Opportunities is 1:Many and Contact:preferences is 1:Many. There are about 4 other subreports in the main report but ALL are linked to the main report.
TIA!!

There is no way to change an existing name, at least not within Crystal 8.5. You could save the subreport under the desired name and then bring it back in under that name, if you think it worthwhile.

I'd also advise using [Save As] to make a backup copy of the report before doing any big changes, just in case you can't get back to what you had after the changes.
