A year or so ago we were using Seagate InfoDesktop, and I remember when our administrator renamed the server we stored our reports on, we had to re-publish all our reports. That was because when you published a report it utilized DNS to determine the path to the report instead of a "drive letter" assignment.
Now once again admin is going to rename ALL our servers. We are on Crystal Enterprise 9, Professional now. The server that we store our reports on is a different box than where we run CE9. Same scenario as the InfoDesktop, except this time we are renaming both servers.
Does anyone know how renaming both servers will affect our published reports, or any other gotcha's?
Any expertise you can share would really be appreciated. I am under a strict timeline for figuring this out.

Thanks for your help!

Changing the name of the Servers won't affect the scheduled reports, per se, but it will definitely affect the various servers/services required for CE. This in turn affects your ability to run the reports.
