Is it possible to have Access rename a file after importing into a database?

I have created a database with form that enables the end user to click on a command button which imports a excel file into the database via a macro. The problem arises when the end user accidentaly clicks on the button twice, which then imports the data twice. This usually happens before I get the chance to rename the file and so the story goes "bad data in, bad data out".

Anybody got any ideas?
