HI, is it possible, in a macro to just rename a file after an export?
I'm making a form which the user will be be able to name the file the name he wants. But with the EXport macro, you cannot change just the name of the export file ,you have to redefine all the tables of the exported file.

I hope this is understandable!!
Thanks

What I do is export the file to a fixed name in c:\windows\temp, then I have a LotusScript with the FileCopy command in it to move the file to the user-specified location and name.

Filecopy is well documented in the help for Approach!

HI thanks, but my version of Approach=3.0 I think that filecopy is not defined in this version. Am I right?

Not available in Version 3 - so you are stuck! You cannot rename a file with a macro.
