rename subreports?

Is there a way you can rename an existing subreport to something else? Is this feature available in Crystal 8.5?

Dear Stuck,

As far as I can find out there is not in CR 8.5, and an annoyance it certainly is. No matter what you do, the oringinal report name is "saved" (writ in stone would be a better description).

If anyone one else knows of a way, I would certainly be interested.

In CR 10 you can rename a subreport.

In thread149-841114, I've got a code-based solution. That's the only way to change them pre-CR9. There are likely some third-party tools out there that can do this as well. You can check out some options here:
