rename SQL2005 Instance

Hello!
i use from sql server 2005 standard edition and need to rename its instance.i use from sp_dropserver and sp_addserver query for this but i am not succeed.current sql instance is SQLSERVER2005 and i want to rename to REPLICATESQL2005.
please help me for this.

You can't rename an instance. You'll need to uninstall and reinstall the instance under the correct name.
