I have installed SMS2 / Sql 7 on a new server and was told by the SMS installation that the machine name could not contain "-". Our standard server naming convention has a "-" in it, can I rename the server after SMS and Sql are installed?? What precautions should I look for before renaming the server?? This is a new Primary server with no children. Thanks in advance.
