Rename function in Qmail Scanner

Hi,

I am working for Qmail Scanner for the 1st time; just noticed in the qmail-queue.log file that the rename function for moving messages from tmp to the new folder takes very long for some msgs. Hence, I tried changing the rename to "mv" in the qmail-scanner-queue.pl file. But when I restart all the qmail-related processes, the log file still has the same "rename" msg. Is there any other place that I have to go make a change? Also can anyone tell me why the scanner takes so long sometimes?

You need to find the qmail-scanner mailing list and ask them. I wouldn't expect that this should be a problem and that you shouldn't need to modify the code.
