Hi,
There is a simple procedure to remane the file extention? I have the file named magazz01.dat and I'd like to remane it in magazz01.new with a simple program. Can you help me please?

which compiler and which OS.

All compilers I know will have a function that will allow you to issue a OS command to rename the file, and this is what you should do.
