Can i rename a control on the fly ? For example, if Me!Office = 6 Then Me.Branch9 = Me!Branch. Both branch9 and branch are fields in the table products

Why? Is the user aware of the control name? Or even does he use it for building other objects? Or am I confussing your "rename" question?

How are ya peljo . . .

Your not renaming a control here. You just copy one to the other . . . which is completely legit. So what do you really want to know? . . .

See Ya! . . . . . .

Be sure to see thread181-473997

I don't think you want to rename a control but have a dynamic ControlSource:
=IIf([Office]=6,[Branch],[Branch9])

Hope This Helps, PH.
