i tried NAVDOS (NAVDX.exe) with Jul 31,2007 definitions on a computer which was full or W32.Rontokbro.U

The PC has FAT32 partition but NAVDX did not detect a single file. Does this mean that NAVDX is only for DOS based viruses???? If not then how can i make it work. Give me URLs for any better DOS based antivirus if NAVDX is not good enough

I used to build a System works rescue disk that I would keep the Virus Defs. updated and it did a good job, The think to remember you need to up date the Def. files for it to be any good. I now use Bert PE, or UBCD4WIN.com's utility disk works much better and I use to have 10 diff. AV programs to scan with. My only problem is I keep running out of space on the CD and had to drop a couple programs.

thanks for the repply, the 2 new tools that you use are able to detect and clean w32 based problems, right?
