Is there an easy way to stop the windows logon startup wave from running for every user that logs on.?
So one suggested renameing the file but I am assuming this will work but probably create an event log everytime.

thought there might be a cleaner way to accomplish it.?

I had the same problem and solved it by using settings in each ica client. OK for me because we only have about 25 users, awkward if you have lots more:

Application set settings, default options, uncheck enable sound and sound server default.

why not disable the sound thru group policy?

You may want sound for other items/programs just not the irritating logon.
