I imported a picture from microsoft paint into corel 10. I want to use it as a logo on pictures and such but there is a white background that cover some of the pictures. how do I get rid of these.

This has been covered many times before.

Select image goto Bitmaps; scroll down to Bitmap Color Mask;click on eyedropper tool, click on white background, set tolerance to around 10, click OK.

Otherwise save the original image as a PNG and select Transparent Background. This should make the color mask redundant!
