Filtering out individual PivotItems so that they are not visible is useful, but numerical data apparently cannot be grouped when there is any text (including the PivotItem "(blank)") within the PivotField. Is there any reasonably simple way to remove a PivotItem of my choice. There seems to be a "Delete" function that is a member of the PivotItem class, but I haven't figured out how to use it. Also there does not appear to be any manual (non-programmatic) way to completely remove a pivot item from a pivot field.
Any solutions or creative suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

This has plagued me as well, especially with a field of dates in which there may be blanks. If that's the case, forget grouping!

What I have ended up doing (if possible) is to clean up the data and then start biolding the Pivot Table all over again.

If anyone has a better solution, I'd love to hear it! :) Skip,
